The Urban Visionaries non-profit was formed  by educators, parents, youth, union members and community activists who have been working together for over 15 years to improve low income public schools and communities in the LA area.  

Urban Visionaries empowers young people and families in low-income, immigrant, Indigenous, and marginalized communities of color. Our mission is to foster sustainable, healthy, and just schools and communities through community-driven safe spaces and programs in arts, education, transformative justice, urban gardening and community organizing.
